How is the interest charged for financing and securities lending?

Financing rate

If you are buying U.S. stocks on margin, you can check the current applicable financing rates by following the steps below:

1. Enter the transaction page: click [Transaction] in the bottom menu bar (as shown in Figure (1)).
2. Select the U.S. stock and turn on the financing switch (as shown in Figure (2)).
3. Enter the purchase quantity (the quantity must be greater than the amount available in cash, less than or equal to the amount available for financing), the system will automatically calculate the amount to be financed, and click the text [Buy will generate a loan] (as shown in Figure (3) (4)).
4. When financing is generated, the page will prompt the amount of “purchase will generate borrowing”, click the [View Interest Rate] button on the right (as shown in Figure (5)).
5. The system will pop up the current financing interest rate table, and you can check the annual interest rate according to your financing amount (as shown in Figure (6)).

Margin lending rate

On the stock chart page, click on the “Rong” button in the upper right corner to display the annual interest rate of securities lending. The annual interest rate of securities lending will dynamically change according to the daily market supply. Please refer to the data on the page for the actual interest rate.
