2. When will the financing and securities lending interest be charged?

The margin financing interest is calculated on a daily basis at 23:00 in the market (23:00 in US time for US stocks and 23:00 in Hong Kong time for Hong Kong stocks). The margin financing interest will be deducted from the cash balance of your stock account. Therefore, it is recommended that your stock cash balance remain sufficient and not zero.

3. How to calculate financing and securities lending interest

（1）Financing interest : (does not distinguish between stocks, only currency)

Financing interest = financing amount * financing interest rate/360

Financing interest is calculated on a daily basis at 23:00 in the market (23:00 in US time for US stocks and 23:00 in Hong Kong time for Hong Kong stocks). If there is a loan, interest will be calculated and settled (after calculating interest, interest will be deducted from the available balance).

（2）Securities lending interest:

Interest rate on short selling = (individual stock Closing Price * 102% (rounded up) * number of short holdings * individual stock short selling interest rate (short selling rate)/360.

The Closing Price of a stock refers to the after-hours closing price

Securities lending interest is calculated on a daily basis at 23:00 in the market (US stocks at 23:00, Hong Kong stocks at 23:00). If there is borrowing, interest will be calculated and settled (after calculating interest, interest will be deducted from the available balance).

Buying on the same day and selling before 23:00 on the same day will not charge interest. Interest will also be calculated during non-opening hours (holidays, Saturdays and Sundays), and interest will be charged for a few days of holding.
