When is margin trading and short selling interest charged?
How to check when margin trading and short selling interest is charged on the App:
Margin trading and short selling interest is calculated on a daily basis and settled uniformly at 23:00 every day:
US stocks: Calculated at 23:00 US local time
Hong Kong stocks: Calculated at 23:00 Hong Kong local time
The daily margin trading and short selling interest will be accumulated and recorded in your stock cash account first. When you close the corresponding position or transfer funds to your stock account, the system will automatically deduct and return the accumulated interest from the account cash without manual operation.
If you need to view specific interest details, you can check in the Stock Account → Bill → Interest Record in the App.
