I. Contract Basic Information

Contract Name Gold Main Continuous Contract, representing that the underlying asset traded is gold.

Contract Code (Example: GC2512)

GC: Gold code

25: Year 2025

12: December delivery That is, a gold contract for delivery in December 2025.

Exchange New York Mercantile Exchange (one of the world’s major metals futures exchanges).

Contract Type Precious metals futures.

Delivery Method Physical delivery. However, most investors close their positions before expiration and do not participate in actual physical delivery.

II. Trading Specifications

Contract Size 1 contract = 100 troy ounces of gold.

Pricing Currency USD.

Minimum Price Fluctuation

Minimum tick size: $0.1

For every $0.1 price movement, the profit or loss per contract changes by $10 (Calculation: 0.1 × 100)
