If the remittance is not in your home country or local currency, such as transferring Singapore dollars to a US bank account, Singapore bank account transferring US dollars, and Hong Kong bank account transferring US dollars, the bank will charge a handling fee ranging from a few dollars to tens of dollars.
However, some banks will charge a handling fee even if the payment is made in their own currency. For example, if you transfer US dollars to US Wise, Wise will charge a $10 handling fee per transaction.
