Remittance cover notes (also known as remarks or references) play an important role in international remittance transfers by allowing the sender to communicate additional information to the recipient. Character and length limits for remittance cover notes vary from country to country, but most banks support English letters, numbers, and basic punctuation, and the length usually ranges from 20 to 35 characters. To ensure that the message is conveyed correctly, try to use a clear and concise combination of letters and numbers and avoid complex or special characters.
On the remittance page, after selecting your remittance account, you can find the remittance message at the bottom of the page. After you submit the remittance, you cannot modify the remittance message. If the status of the remittance order is [under review], you can cancel the order by yourself, then fill in a new remittance message and resubmit the remittance.
